I have over 30+ years of creative editing and post production experience. Combined with a genuine fascination with new technology and its application to the world of production. EDITOR / PREDITOR / E.I.C. (ENGINEER IN CHARGE) FOX BROADCASTING COMPANY
Collaborate with Producers or work directly with Creative Executives in the Drama, Comedy and Unscripted departments to create imaginative promos, presentations and marketing media for the FOX On-Air Promotions department. Provide artistic input and innovative editorial solutions for promotional content.

E.I.C:. In addition to creative editorial responsibilities; Assist in the design, development and evolution of digital media workflows that enable editors to work efficiently with post production assets. Communicate best practices, guides and technical requirements to AE’s, Editors and Producers. Provide technical support for NLE’s, media assets and system issues. Manage ISIS storage (1.6PB) for multiple departments (On Air Promo & Special Ops). Help conceptualize and maintain organizational structure within the Interplay database. Work with Acquisitions team, Editors, Producers and Operations to determine when to remove media metadata to enable proper media deletion. Troubleshoot Avid technical issues for editors and producers as needed. Troubleshoot hardware issues as needed for entire promo department.

Worked on long form 30 min-60 min BTS (behind-the-scenes) shows of film and television productions, celebrity interviews, news packages and network promos for broadcast on the network, in-store, in flight and online marketing..

RTF (Radio–Television-Film) University of Texas, Austin
Attended the U.T. from 1984 to 1987 working on Graduate level film projects and television productions as Camera Op, Director of Photography and Editor. Paid Lighting Assistant at the University Theatre department. Teamed with Lighting Designers to implement lighting designs for plays and dance productions. Managed / trained 5 person student crew each semester.
